Odisha Renews Zero Road Accident Fatality Campaign for Safer Roads
Imagine Odisha wants everyone to get home safely every day.
So, they are having a special two-week event called 'Zero Fatality Fortnight'.
During this time, police and helpers will be extra careful to stop people from breaking traffic rules, like speeding or driving while sleepy.
They will also fix bumpy roads and make sure signs are clear.
Everyone is asked to be careful when they drive and to help if there's an accident.
The goal is to have no one die in a road accident during these two weeks, making the roads safer for everyone.
This is part of a bigger plan to make Odisha a great place to live.
Odisha is relaunching its 'Zero Fatality Fortnight' campaign from November 16 to November 30.
The campaign aims to achieve zero road accident deaths through coordinated action and public participation.
It will focus on the four pillars of road safety: Enforcement, Engineering, Education, and Emergency Care.
