Zetwerk Acquires KRYFS Power Components Stake
Zetwerk, a large manufacturing company, has purchased a major part of KRYFS, a company that makes important parts for transformers.
Transformers are used to deliver electricity.
This deal helps Zetwerk because KRYFS is an expert in making these transformer parts, especially those needed for high-voltage power lines.
KRYFS has specialized labs and factories for this.
The current KRYFS team, including the CEO, will stay in charge.
Also, Toyota, which has worked with KRYFS for a long time, will continue to be involved.
This means Zetwerk is expanding its ability to make important infrastructure parts for India and other countries.
Zetwerk acquired a controlling stake in KRYFS Power Components Ltd.
The acquisition grants Zetwerk access to KRYFS's expertise in transformer solutions.
KRYFS is the only Indian company making 765 kV class transformer components.
KRYFS's existing management, including the CEO, will remain in place.
Toyota Tsusho Corporation will continue its partnership with KRYFS.
