Ceiling Plaster Collapse Injures ASI at Maripeda Police Station

A police officer got hurt while he was working at his desk.

A big piece of the ceiling fell down suddenly and landed on him.

The officer's name is Srinivasa Rao, and he works as an Assistant Sub-Inspector.

The fallen plaster hurt his shoulder badly.

His fellow police officers quickly took him to the government hospital.

Doctors treated him, and he is now safe and out of danger.

The police station where this happened is very old.

It was built many decades ago and now has cracks everywhere.

Pieces of the ceiling keep falling, especially during the rainy season.

The police are asking the government to build a new station so they can work safely.
