Pune Metro: All-Women Loco Pilots Set to Launch Line 3
A team of 100 women, mostly from Pune, are training to be train drivers.
They've been practicing since July.
They'll be in charge of operating Line 3 of the Pune Metro.
This route goes from Hinjewadi to Shivajinagar.
They have already done some test runs and are ready to start.
This will be the first all-women team of loco pilots for the Pune Metro.
100 women are training to operate Pune Metro's Line 3.
Training began in July.
The women are mostly from Pune and nearby areas.
They will operate the trains from Hinjewadi to Shivajinagar.
Multiple trial runs have been successful.
