Delhi-Meerut Namo Bharat Trains Run Every 8 Minutes Until Aug 14
The Namo Bharat train line that goes from Delhi to Meerut will run faster.
Starting July 30, trains will come every 8 minutes instead of every 10.
The company added 52 more trains each day to make this possible.
This change lasts until August 14.
It helps people travel more quickly, especially when many people go to Haridwar during the Shravan month.
The line has 16 stops and is 82 km long.
The local metro in Meerut stays the same, so people can still use it for short trips.
Namo Bharat trains on the Delhi‑Meerut corridor will run every 8 minutes from July 30 to Aug 14, down from 10 minutes.
National Capital Region Transport Corporation added 52 extra daily trips to support the increased frequency.
The change coincides with Shravan month, when many devotees travel to Haridwar, easing crowding.
The 82.15‑km corridor has 16 stations from Sarai Kale Khan to Modipuram, serving Delhi, Ghaziabad, and Meerut.
Meerut Metro services remain unchanged; commuters can switch to Namo Bharat for longer journeys.
