Husband Charged in Ex-Miss Switzerland Murder Case
A man named Thomas, who is 43 years old, has been charged with killing his wife, Kristina Joksimovic.
Kristina was a former beauty queen who was a finalist in the Miss Switzerland competition.
Thomas is accused of strangling her and then cutting her body into pieces using different tools.
He even used a blender to mix some parts of her body.
Police found these tools and some of Kristina's remains in their home.
Thomas said he did it because he was defending himself, but the police found no proof of that.
Kristina's father found some of her hair in a bag in the laundry room, which is how the police got involved.
Thomas is now in jail, and the police are getting ready for a trial.
Thomas, 43, has been charged with murder and disturbing the peace for allegedly strangling and dismembering his wife, Kristina Joksimovic, 38, in February 2024.
Kristina was a former Miss Switzerland finalist and a catwalk coach.
Thomas used a jigsaw knife, garden shears, and an industrial blender to dismember his wife's body, with some remains being 'pureed' and dissolved in a chemical solution.
Police found the blender, skin flaps, muscle tissue, and bone fragments in the couple's home in Binningen, Switzerland.
Thomas initially claimed self-defense but later admitted to the crime; forensic evidence showed no signs of struggle, and the cause of death was strangulation.
