IIT Kharagpur student's family alleges murder after fatal fall

A student named Ankit Sharma was studying machines and engineering at a big college called IIT Kharagpur.

On Thursday afternoon, he fell from the third floor of a building called Nalanda and sadly passed away.

Ankit's family believes that someone hurt him on purpose, and they think he was pushed.

They told the police, and now the police are investigating what really happened.

The police have already looked at the security cameras of the building.

Ankit came from the state of Rajasthan.

Sadly, he is the ninth student to die at this college in the last fifteen months.

A few years ago, another student's family also said he was hurt by older students, and that case is still in court.

The college says that Ankit did not seem stressed or unhappy, but his family is not sure.

Doctors are doing an examination to find out how he died, and everyone is waiting for the results.
