US Markets Recover After Week's Start; Dow Still Lower
The stock market in the US bounced back after going down earlier in the week.
The Dow Jones didn't fully recover, but the S&P 500 and NASDAQ did well.
The dollar is still not doing so well, and the interest rates on US government bonds (Treasury Yield) went down.
This happened because experts think the US Federal Reserve might lower interest rates.
There's also news that the job market in the US isn't growing very fast, which could mean the unemployment rate might increase.
This week, everyone will be watching to see how much prices have gone up in the US, and the outcome of a big meeting of European financial leaders.
Dow Jones, S&P 500, and NASDAQ Composite recovered after a gap-down start to the week.
S&P 500 and NASDAQ closed the week in the green, while Dow Jones closed slightly lower.
Dollar index remains subdued.
US 10Yr Treasury Yield fell sharply.
Weak job market data and expectations of Fed rate cuts influenced market movements.
