Punjab Minister, Ravneet Bittu Clash Over ED Searches

The Enforcement Directorate searched a home linked to Punjab minister Hardeep Singh Mundian’s nephew.

Former Union minister Ravneet Singh Bittu said Mundian had gone to the United States during the search.

Mundian said that was untrue.

He said he was speaking at a party office in Chandigarh.

Mundian also criticized Bittu and made a sarcastic “travel agency” comment.

He corrected Bittu’s description of his family relationship with Gurpreet Singh, also known as Prince.

The search is connected to an investigation into alleged money laundering involving GMADA and related entities.

The disagreement has become a political fight between leaders associated with the Aam Aadmi Party and the Bharatiya Janata Party.
