Court Grants Bail to 6 in India Gate Protest Case
A court in Delhi decided to let six people go free who were arrested for protesting at India Gate.
The protest was supposed to be about air pollution, but some people said bad things and hurt police officers.
The court said these six people are not part of any banned group and don't need to stay in jail.
Now, 22 out of 23 people arrested are free.
The protest was mostly by students from Delhi University.
The court said the police didn't show any proof that these groups are banned or that the protesters are part of a banned group.
So, the court let them go.
A Delhi court granted bail to six protesters arrested during an India Gate protest.
The protest was initially organized against air pollution but allegedly turned into support for Naxalites.
The court noted that the protesters are not members of any banned organization like the Radical Students Union (RSU).
22 out of 23 arrested protesters have now been granted bail.
