Florida Man Wins Reward for Python Removal Efforts
Imagine giant snakes that don't belong in Florida are eating up all the local animals.
To help, the state is paying people to catch and get rid of these snakes, called Burmese pythons.
One person caught 87 in a month and got a big reward!
This program, along with others like using robot rabbits to find snakes, is trying to protect the Everglades.
These snakes are a problem because they can eat almost anything, and there's no natural way to keep their numbers down.
The state has been working on this since the 1990s, and thousands of snakes have already been removed.
Florida man earned Rs 87,000 for capturing 87 Burmese pythons in a month.
The reward was part of the Python Elimination Program by South Florida Water Management District.
