TCS Employee Forced to Resign After Shift Change
A new employee at TCS says they were forced to quit on their first day because the company changed their work hours.
The employee had accepted the job because it was supposed to be an Australian shift, which fit their schedule.
But on the first day, they were told they would have to work US hours instead.
When the employee complained, the HR asked them to resign.
The employee is now jobless and has spent a lot of time and money on the job process.
A group that helps IT workers says this is not the first time TCS has done this.
A TCS employee was forced to resign on the first day after being assigned a US shift instead of the agreed Australian shift.
The employee had accepted the job based on the Australian shift timing, which suited their personal circumstances.
HR allegedly denied the original shift agreement and asked the employee to resign when confronted with evidence.
The employee is now jobless and has incurred financial and emotional losses due to the incident.
