CJP Gives Gyanesh Kumar 48 Hours Amid SIR Controversy

The Cockroach Janta Party has asked Election Commission chief Gyanesh Kumar to resign.

It gave him 48 hours to do this.

The demand is connected to a review of voter lists called the Special Intensive Revision.

The party says it will begin protests across the country if he does not resign.

It has called one possible protest “Jantar Mantar 2.0.”

Half of the time in the ultimatum had passed when the report was published.

That meant about 24 hours were left.

The article does not say how Gyanesh Kumar or the Election Commission responded.
