Uttar Pradesh Builds Investor Trust Through Defence Corridor Support

Uttar Pradesh Builds Investor Trust Through Defence Corridor Support

Uttar Pradesh is trying to attract more companies to build defence-related products.

Minister Nand Gopal Gupta ‘Nandi’ said the government wants to help investors from the time they arrive until their factories are ready.

The state says investors should not have to take paperwork from one office to another.

Six places are being developed as parts of the Uttar Pradesh Defence Industrial Corridor.

Companies have proposed investments worth about ₹40,000 crore.

Around 1,142 hectares of land have been given to industries.

Defence work can include small parts, batteries, software, cables, packaging, and transport services.

This means small businesses and startups may also find opportunities.

Officials said better connections, safety, and trust are important for attracting investment.
