Himalaya Wellness Initiative Earns Asia Record for Kidney Stone Awareness
Himalaya Wellness Company started a program called the Cystone Break Free Movement to help people learn how to avoid kidney stones.
They asked more than 8,200 doctors to share simple tips, like drinking water and eating healthy.
Each doctor took a photo of their tip and the company turned it into a flyer.
The doctors then sent these flyers to their patients on WhatsApp.
The program was so big that it got a record from the Asia Book of Records for the most doctors involved in a health awareness campaign.
Himalaya says this shows how important it is for doctors to talk to patients about staying healthy and preventing kidney stones.
Himalaya Wellness Company’s Cystone Break Free Movement recognized by the Asia Book of Records for the largest number of doctors raising kidney stone prevention awareness.
The initiative involved 8,248 doctors, mainly general physicians and AYUSH practitioners, from across India.
Each doctor shared a practical prevention tip, which was turned into a digital flyer and distributed via WhatsApp to patients.
The campaign promoted hydration, healthy diet, lifestyle changes, early symptom recognition, and timely medical consultation.
Himalaya’s commitment to doctor‑led awareness is reinforced, with Cystone helping over 800,000 patients annually.
