Bengaluru Airport Metro Line Completion Targeted for 2027
The city of Bengaluru is building a new metro line to make it easier to get to the airport.
This new line, called the Blue Line, is supposed to be finished by early 2027.
It will connect the airport to other parts of the city, like Hebbal.
Workers are building stations at the airport itself.
The project had some delays, but they are working hard to finish it.
The company in charge wants everyone to know they are building it safely and keeping to the schedule.
BMRCL is aiming to complete the Bengaluru Airport Metro Line by early 2027.
The Blue Line corridor will connect Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) to Hebbal.
BMRCL Managing Director J Ravishankar inspected the infrastructure, including viaducts and stations.
Construction on the KR Pura–KIA stretch resumed after delays, but faces labor shortages.
Two metro stations are being built within the airport premises: Airport City and Airport Terminal.
