Lula and Flavio Bolsonaro End Campaigns Before Brazil Vote

Brazil’s presidential candidates finished campaigning before voters went to the polls on Sunday.

President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva held a large march in Sao Paulo.

Organizers said about 150,000 people attended.

Lula said the election was about choosing between democracy and barbarism.

Senator Flavio Bolsonaro joined a motorcycle caravan and held a rally.

He said he believed he could win in the first round.

Polls pointed to a possible second round.

If nobody gets more than half of valid votes, the two leading candidates will compete again on October 25.
