Telangana BJP Mahila Morcha Seeks Governor Action on Women’s Safety
The BJP Mahila Morcha asked Telangana’s Governor to help improve women’s safety.
Its leaders said many crimes against women are being reported in the state.
They listed thousands of cases, including sexual assaults and rapes.
They also discussed the alleged rape and murder of a tribal nurse in Tukkuguda.
The group wants a fast-track court and the death penalty for the accused.
It requested financial help and a government job for someone in the nurse’s family.
The group also alleged that an elderly woman related to a BJP leader was attacked.
It said police had not registered an FIR in that case despite a complaint and CCTV evidence.
