NCLAT Upholds Gensol Asset Freeze, Directs Further Action
A court said that Gensol and related companies can't immediately get their frozen assets back.
They must now present their case to another court.
That court had frozen their assets on May 28 due to allegations of financial wrongdoing.
BluSmart, an electric vehicle company, and Matrix Gas, a green hydrogen company, are among those affected.
They argued the asset freeze would cause problems, but the court upheld the freeze for now.
NCLAT declined to lift the asset freeze on Gensol and related entities.
BluSmart Premium Feet and Matrix Gas and Renewable must approach NCLT with their plea.
NCLT hearing regarding the asset freeze is scheduled for June 12.
The Ministry of Corporate Affairs filed the original plea leading to the asset freeze.
