SRMIST and Schneider Electric Launch Human Machine Interface Center
Imagine a special school room where students can learn about the screens and buttons that help people control big machines in factories.
SRMIST, a university, is teaming up with a company called Schneider Electric to create this room.
It's like a super lab where students from different types of engineering can get hands-on experience with these control systems.
This helps them understand how real factories work and bridges the gap between what they learn in class and what they do on the job.
Teachers also get to learn about new industrial technology, making it a great learning opportunity for everyone involved.
SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) and Schneider Electric have signed an MoU to establish a Centre of Excellence in Human Machine Interface (HMI).
The center will provide students with exposure to HMI technologies and real-time industrial processes.
It aims to bridge the gap between academic theory and industrial practice by integrating automation technologies.
The initiative is expected to benefit faculty, students, and Schneider Electric.
The collaboration focuses on strengthening academic-industry partnerships.
