Naidu Says Visakhapatnam Can Become a Global City

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu gave land ownership papers to thousands of people in Visakhapatnam.

These papers give 28,445 families stronger rights over their house sites.

The government regularised hundreds of acres of land for this purpose.

Naidu said the papers could give poor families security and help their children in the future.

He also said Visakhapatnam needs more drinking water.

The government plans to bring Godavari water through the Polavaram project.

Naidu described Visakhapatnam as a fast-growing city that could become global.

He also promised more houses, industries, greenery and efforts to solve long-standing local issues.
