KDMC Issues Show-Cause Notice Over Inflated Kalyan Dog-Bite Figures
A dog bit some people in a part of Kalyan city called Khadakpada.
After the bites, people went to a nearby hospital to be treated.
The hospital's official records said 58 people were treated.
But a doctor named Dr Sandeep Pagare told the news that 110 to 130 people were bitten.
City officials said that number was much bigger than what the hospital recorded.
They thought the doctor shared information without checking it first.
The officials also said the news made people worried and scared.
So the city sent the doctor an official letter asking him to explain.
The doctor had to reply within 24 hours, or there could be more action.
