HYDRAA Commissioner AV Ranganath checked IDL Lake before the Ganesh immersion celebrations.

People will bring idols to the lake and place them in the water.

Workers made the lake deeper than 25 feet so taller idols can be immersed safely.

Large cranes will help lower thousands of idols into the lake.

Other machines will remove the idols after immersion.

Ranganath asked officials to work together and watch the arrangements closely.

He also visited Anjaneya Nagar to hear residents’ complaints about a blocked road.

The residents said the road beside White-water Apartments had been illegally occupied.
