Asansol Launches City Watch Cars to Catch Littering Violators

Asansol has started using special cars to help keep streets clean.

The cars have cameras and GPS, so officials can see what is happening in different areas.

They will look for people dumping garbage, spitting, or urinating in public places.

Officials may issue fines when the cameras record these actions.

Two cars are being used first, but 10 are planned.

The cars are expected to cover all 106 wards of the Asansol Municipal Corporation.

Officials also said dengue cases in the area are more than 18 percent lower than last year.

Health workers and sanitation teams held a rally to remind people about cleanliness and safety.
