HC Allows Hiremath Siblings to Amend Suit
The Bombay High Court has allowed two siblings, Sameer Hiremath and Pallavi Swadi, to change their lawsuit.
They are fighting over family assets, including companies like Bharat Forge.
The siblings want to stop certain people from voting on shares of these companies.
A lower court in Pune had said no, but the High Court said yes.
The siblings have three weeks to make the changes and 30 days to respond.
They believe they should have a say in the family businesses because their great-grandfather started them.
Bombay High Court permits Hiremath siblings to amend their suit to include restraint on voting rights of shares.
Pune Civil Court had initially rejected the plea to amend the suit on August 21, 2025.
Siblings allege they are being deprived of their shares as coparceners in the Hindu Undivided Family (HUF).
Assets in dispute include publicly listed and private companies, firms, immovable properties, and bank accounts.
High Court directs amended suit to be filed within three weeks, with defendants having 30 days to respond.
