Music, Dance and Devotion Mark Hyderabad Ganesha Immersions

Music, Dance and Devotion Mark Hyderabad Ganesha Immersions

Thousands of people in Hyderabad took Ganesha idols to the water for immersion.

This happened on Friday after 12 days of celebrations.

People walked in processions and danced along the routes.

Dhol drums were the most common music, while some groups also used DJs and loud speakers.

Film songs from Paradise and devotional songs were played.

Police had restricted high-powered music systems, but some processions still used them.

Many different people, including students, workers, politicians and police officers, joined the festivities.

Volunteers said the work was tiring but rewarding because they helped manage crowds and support devotees.
