BJP protests against housing for evicted families
In Bengaluru, the BJP held a protest because the government is giving houses to people who were evicted from their homes.
The BJP says these people might be illegal immigrants from Bangladesh and not from Karnataka.
They believe the government should give houses to people who really belong to Karnataka.
The government says only 90 families are eligible for housing.
The BJP also says that many illegal immigrants are living in Karnataka and getting benefits that should go to real Karnataka residents.
The protest was to make the government stop giving houses to these people and to protect Karnataka's land.
BJP staged a protest against the Karnataka government's decision to provide houses to families evicted from Kogilu's Waseem Layout and Fakir Colony.
