MP Hails Operation Sindoor, Calls for Stronger Response to Attacks
Imagine India was attacked, and some people wanted to fight back right away.
Operation Sindoor was like India hitting back at places in Pakistan where bad guys were hiding.
This happened after a big attack in April that hurt many people.
Some people in the government said this type of response, like Operation Sindoor, should have happened sooner, maybe even after a big attack a long time ago.
There was a little fight between India and Pakistan because of this, but now they are talking about it in the government to make sure everyone understands what happened.
BJP MP Aparajita Sarangi stated Operation Sindoor, a retaliatory military action, should have followed the 2008 Mumbai attacks.
Operation Sindoor involved precision strikes on nine terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied-Kashmir (PoK) on May 7.
The strikes were in response to the Pahalgam terror attack on April 22, which claimed 26 lives.
India and Pakistan engaged in a four-day military conflict following Operation Sindoor.
A parliamentary discussion on Operation Sindoor and the Pahalgam attack is scheduled for next week.
