Former BRS MLA Kanta Rao Arrested in Sexual Harassment Case
A man has been arrested in India after a woman complained about him.
The man, Rega Kanta Rao, used to be a member of the state assembly for the BRS party.
The woman said he promised to marry her but broke that promise.
She told police he asked her to meet him at a plot of land, saying he would help her open a YouTube channel.
She said that instead of helping her, he hurt her.
She also said he threatened to share her private photos.
The woman says he took four lakh rupees from her for a real estate deal that went wrong.
Police in Hyderabad registered a case against him and arrested him in Bengaluru.
