Mumbai Civic Polls: BJP Faces Setbacks
In Mumbai, the city government is getting ready for big elections.
They received lots of applications from people who want to be in charge of different areas.
But the BJP party had a problem: their candidates in two areas didn't even send in their applications.
Meanwhile, people in one part of the city, called K-West, are upset about garbage, water problems, and illegal sellers.
They hope the new leaders will fix these issues.
The BJP thinks they will still win many seats because they have been working hard.
BMC received 2,516 nominations for 227 electoral wards in Mumbai.
BJP candidates from wards 211 and 212 did not submit their nomination papers.
K-West ward, with over 6.5 lakh voters, faces issues like garbage management and water shortages.
Residents and former corporators highlight problems such as illegal hawkers and poor public toilets.
BJP claims they will win several seats due to their consistent work in the area.
