Rahul Gandhi Targets Modi-Shah System at Indore Student Event

Rahul Gandhi spoke to students at an event in Indore called Chhatron Ki Goonj.

He said India’s system is controlled by six powerful people.

He named Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, National Security Adviser Ajit Doval, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, and industrialists Gautam Adani and Mukesh Ambani.

Gandhi said students are important because they ask questions about schools, colleges, jobs and exams.

He claimed that education receives a smaller share of the government budget than it did in 2014.

He also said many schools have closed and many teacher positions are empty.

Gandhi blamed the system for problems including fewer scholarships and examination paper leaks.

The reports present these statements as Gandhi’s allegations and do not include a response from the people he criticized.
