Elevated Corridor Planned Over Amrabad Tiger Reserve
Imagine a road that goes up in the air, like a bridge, over a forest in India.
This new road, called an elevated corridor, will be built over the Amrabad Tiger Reserve to help people travel more easily.
It will be like a long bridge, so cars, buses and lorries can drive on it without disturbing the animals below.
The government is helping pay for this road to make sure the forest and its animals are safe and can live peacefully.
The new road will make it easier for people going to a temple town called Srisailam, and the old road below will be kept for the people living in the area.
A 54-kilometer elevated road bridge will be built over the Amrabad Tiger Reserve.
The project will cost an estimated ₹7,700 crore.
The state government will pay 50% of the project's cost.
The elevated corridor will become part of National Highway 765.
The current road through the reserve is closed to traffic from 9 PM to 6 AM.
