Wolf kills 5-year-old boy in Bahraich
In a village in Bahraich, a wolf attacked and killed a 5-year-old boy named Star.
The boy was playing outside his home when the wolf suddenly appeared and dragged him away.
Villagers tried to chase the wolf, but the boy was badly hurt and later died on the way to the hospital.
This is not the first time wolves have attacked people in this area.
Over the past three months, wolves have killed eight children and one woman, and injured many more.
The government has tried to stop these attacks by killing some wolves and setting up more patrols, but the problem continues.
People in the village are very scared and are being told to be extra careful, especially with small children.
A 5-year-old boy named Star was killed in a wolf attack in Mallahan Purwa, a hamlet under Ghodahia village in the Kaisarganj police station area, about 50 km from Bahraich district headquarters.
The attack occurred on Friday around 4:30 pm while the boy was playing outside his home, and despite villagers' attempts to chase the wolf, the boy succumbed to his injuries on the way to the hospital.
This incident is part of a series of wolf attacks in Bahraich over the past three months, with eight children and one woman killed and more than 38 people injured.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath ordered the elimination of man-eating wolves, leading to the killing of four wolves in recent operations, but attacks have continued.
