HYDRAA Fences Off Rs.13 Crore Miyapur Park
In Hyderabad, a group called HYDRAA put up a fence around a big piece of land that was supposed to be a park for everyone in the neighborhood.
This land is worth a lot of money, about Rs.13 crore.
Some people had built a wall around it illegally, but HYDRAA and other officials took it down and put up a fence to make sure it stays a park.
The people living nearby have been asking for this park for a long time, and now they can use it as a public space.
HYDRAA fenced off a 1,000-sq. yard land valued at Rs.13 crore in Madinaguda, Miyapur.
The land was reserved for a public park as per the approved plan and a gift deed was registered in favor of the GHMC.
A local individual had illegally occupied the land and constructed a pre-cast wall around it.
Residents of Ushodaya Enclave had been demanding the restoration of the park for a long time.
HYDRAA officials, along with revenue and GHMC officers, inspected the site, confirmed its status as park land, removed the illegal wall, and installed fencing.
