Taliban Seeks Pakistan Dialogue, Denies Afghan Territory Used for Attacks

Pakistan says militants from Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan are hiding and planning attacks from Afghanistan.

The Taliban government in Afghanistan denies this accusation.

Its spokesperson, Zabihullah Mujahid, says Afghanistan will not let anyone use its land to attack another country.

He asked Pakistan to share evidence if it has any.

He also said arguments, threats, and attacks will not solve the problem.

The two countries have experienced border clashes, and Pakistan has carried out airstrikes inside Afghanistan, according to the report.

Mujahid said Afghanistan wants separate and friendly relations with both Pakistan and India.

He also said India is important for trade, healthcare, and other cooperation.

The comments came as Afghanistan’s embassy in New Delhi marked the fifth anniversary of the Taliban’s return to power in Kabul.
