High Court Protects BEd Faculty Jobs, Grants Two Years

High Court Protects BEd Faculty Jobs, Grants Two Years

Several teachers work in BEd colleges connected to Adi Kavi Nannaya University.

The Andhra Pradesh government did not approve some of their appointments because they had not passed NET or APSET.

The teachers asked the High Court for help.

The court said removing them suddenly could harm their livelihoods.

It told the university to certify the teachers’ appointments.

The court also allowed the teachers to keep working for now.

They must pass NET or APSET within two years.

This gives them time to meet the required qualification while keeping their jobs protected.
