PFC, EFA and Citi Partner for India's Clean Energy Transition
Imagine a big Indian company called PFC wants to build more clean energy projects like solar farms and wind turbines.
They've teamed up with a financial helper from Australia (EFA) and a bank called Citi to get money for these projects.
The Australian helper is giving a guarantee to back PFC's request for 180 million USD from Citi.
This money will go towards renewable energy, saving energy, and using clean transportation across India.
It's like India and Australia are working together to fight climate change, making it easier for India to use cleaner energy sources.
PFC partnered with Export Finance Australia (EFA) and Citi.
EFA is providing its first financing initiative in India.
Citi is acting as the Sole ECA Coordinator and Lead Arranger.
EFA is extending a guarantee to support PFC in raising USD 180 million.
Funds will be used for green infrastructure projects in India.
