Kanyashree University Controller Removed Amid Controversy
State ends controller’s tenure at Kanyashree University · thestatesman.com

Dr. Bishwajit Datta, the former Controller of Examinations at Kanyashree University, was removed from his position just a month before his tenure was to end.

He claims his removal was unfair and has accused the university's Vice-Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.)

Tapati Chakraborty, of various issues, including declining student enrolment, irregular admissions, nepotism in faculty recruitment, and financial irregularities.

He also mentioned that student-support initiatives were withdrawn.

The Vice-Chancellor, however, dismissed these allegations, stating that Dr. Datta was removed due to insubordination and misconduct.

Dr. Datta plans to seek judicial intervention if necessary.
