Telangana Rights Commission Summons Officials in Human Rights Violation Cases
Imagine there's a special group that makes sure everyone's rights are protected, called the Human Rights Commission.
Two people complained that some government workers weren't treating others fairly.
In one case, a police officer is accused of hurting someone badly, and later that person died.
The police officer is being called to explain what happened.
In another case, someone died after reportedly being bothered and asked for illegal things by city planning workers.
The city worker is also being asked to respond to these claims.
The commission wants to hear from everyone involved to figure out the truth.
Telangana Human Rights Commission (TGHRC) has taken up two separate cases of alleged human rights violations.
A police sub-inspector has been summoned for allegedly assaulting a man who later died by suicide.
The same sub-inspector is accused of intimidating the victim's family and forcing a speedy cremation.
A town planning official has been asked to respond to allegations of harassment leading to a person's suicide.
