Global Educators Convene to Reimagine Internationalization in Higher Education
Imagine schools from different countries coming together to talk about how to make learning better for everyone around the world.
This meeting, called the AICGS, had people from over 15 countries.
They discussed how schools can work together more closely, not just by having students visit other schools, but by creating new ideas and working on big global problems together.
The goal is to help students learn to think and work like citizens of the whole world.
They talked about new ways to share knowledge and learn from each other's cultures.
Experts also discussed how world events and new technology can change how schools cooperate internationally.
It’s all about making sure that learning and research can happen across borders, even when the world faces challenges.
The 4th Annual International Conference and Global Summit (AICGS) 2025 convened at LPU under the theme ‘Internationalisation Reimagined’.
Over 60 international delegates from 25 universities across 15 countries participated in the three-day event.
Discussions focused on moving beyond traditional student exchanges to deeper collaboration in curriculum, research, and responding to global challenges.
Keynote speakers emphasized preparing students to 'think, work, and live globally' through co-creation of knowledge and diverse perspectives.
Panel discussions addressed navigating academic collaboration amidst global geopolitical shifts, digital transformation, and inclusive partnerships.
