TTD Board Green Initiatives and Infrastructure Development
The TTD board, which runs a major temple in India, has decided to make Tirumala greener by planting more trees.
They plan to increase the green area from 68% to 80%.
They're also spending more money on a medical institute to hire doctors and nurses.
They're starting a volunteer program to help people with medical needs and improving temple town security.
They're also making sure the food served at the canteens is good and safe.
They're also planning to develop temples in other areas.
TTD aims to increase Tirumala's green cover to 80% through afforestation.
₹4 crore will be allocated over three years for the afforestation program.
An additional ₹71 crore per annum has been sanctioned for SVIMS.
A volunteer program called 'Srivari Vaidya Seva' will launch to bolster healthcare.
The board will adopt a new framework for licensing canteens.
