Bindal Questions Himachal Loan Spending Amid Rising Debt

Bindal Questions Himachal Loan Spending Amid Rising Debt

Rajiv Bindal, a BJP leader in Himachal Pradesh, questioned the state government about its finances.

He said the government borrowed Rs 600 crore even though the state already has large debts.

He asked why roads, healthcare and other public services were still in poor condition.

Bindal also alleged that about Rs 1,000 crore was spent on publicity.

He asked the government to explain how much money hospitals are still owed under two health schemes.

The government’s response was not included in the report.

Bindal was speaking while the BJP held a training camp in Hamirpur.

He said the party was strengthening its teams at local polling booths.

The BJP has increased its mandals from 74 to 171 and plans to assign one organiser to each mandal.
