MCX Shares Trade Adjusted for Stock Split

MCX Shares Trade Adjusted for Stock Split

MCX, a company that deals with trading in commodities, has split its shares.

This means that each share that was worth ₹10 is now split into five shares worth ₹2 each.

This change is effective from January 2.

People who had MCX shares in their accounts before the market closed on January 1 will get the new shares.

The value of the shares remains the same, but now there are more shares.

This is done to make the shares cheaper so that more people can buy them.

MCX has many small investors, called retail shareholders, who own a part of the company.

Big investors like mutual funds and banks also own shares in MCX.

Some investors might see a big drop in the share price on their apps, but this is just a technical issue and not a real loss.

Analysts believe that this split will make the stock more liquid and attractive to more investors.
