ABVP Protests JSSC Exam Irregularities, Burns Hemant Soren Effigy
Some students and their grown-up helpers are very upset about a big test in a state called Jharkhand.
The test is called the JSSC exam, and people use it to get important government jobs.
The students say the test was not fair because the questions may have been shared with some people before the test.
A group called ABVP decided to help the students.
The ABVP held a protest in a city called Vijayawada.
During the protest, they burned a pretend figure of Mr. Hemant Soren, the leader of Jharkhand.
They want the test to be cancelled and a special team called the CBI to find out what happened.
The students say the police were too rough with them when they protested.
The ABVP says if nothing changes, protests may happen all over the country.
They are asking a leader named Rahul Gandhi to help the students.
ABVP's Vijayawada unit protested against alleged irregularities and question paper leaks in the JSSC CGL examination and burned an effigy of Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren.
ABVP state secretary Yaganti Venkata Gopi said students and unemployed youth in Jharkhand have been protesting for 21 days over the alleged examination irregularities.
The ABVP condemned the police lathi-charge on students who had called for a 'Chalo Vidhan Sabha' protest.
The organization demanded immediate cancellation of the JSSC examination and a CBI probe into the alleged irregularities and paper leak.
Gopi appealed to Rahul Gandhi to support the protesting students, demanded Soren's resignation, and warned of a nationwide agitation if the demands were not addressed.
