Malaysian PM Anwar to Announce New Cabinet Members
Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim is going to tell everyone about new people joining his government team on Tuesday.
He wants to make his government stronger and fill some empty spots because some people left or their time in office ended.
The country has been doing well with money and getting investments, but there have been some arguments inside the government and people are not happy about the cost of living going up.
Anwar wants to make sure everything runs smoothly for the people of Malaysia.
Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim will announce new cabinet members on Tuesday at 3:30 pm local time (0730 GMT).
The announcement aims to fill vacancies caused by resignations and expired senate terms.
Two ministers resigned in May after losing their party leadership positions, and a third quit last month over state rights issues.
Trade Minister Tengku Zafrul Aziz will be replaced, as his senate term expired on December 2.
Anwar's last major cabinet changes were in December 2023 due to economic concerns and slow reforms.
