Delhi CM cancels Dwarka medical store license for denying medicines

A medicine shop inside a big hospital in Delhi, India, refused to give medicine to sick people.

The person working there said they could not give medicine because the floor was being cleaned.

Someone filmed it and put the video on the internet.

The Chief Minister of Delhi, Rekha Gupta, saw the video and was not happy.

She said giving people medicine is very important and there is no excuse for being rude or careless.

So she took away the shop's permission, which means it can no longer sell medicine at that hospital.

She also said there will be no tolerance for this kind of behavior.

Around the same time, Delhi passed a new law about government services.

The law says government offices must finish their work on time, and workers who are late for no good reason have to pay a fine.

This helps make sure services like hospitals treat everyone fairly and quickly.
