Fadnavis Attacks Congress Over NCERT Coverage of Shivaji

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis criticized the Congress party over how history is taught in schoolbooks.

He said older NCERT books discussed the Mughals on 13 pages but gave Shivaji only one passage.

He said newer books give Shivaji 17 pages.

These numbers were presented as claims by Fadnavis, and the articles did not include a response from Congress.

He also accused Congress of criticizing or misrepresenting issues involving the Ram Mandir and the future Kumbh Mela.

Fadnavis said Congress had delayed the Women’s Reservation Bill.

He praised government programs for women and young people.

He also said Maharashtra still wants to become a $1-trillion economy by 2030.
