Terrel Williams' Life After Tragic 2015 Fight vs Prichard Colon
There was a boxing match in 2015 between two undefeated fighters, Terrel Williams and Prichard Colon.
During the fight, things got rough and both boxers got in trouble for breaking rules.
After the fight, Colon suddenly collapsed.
Doctors found he had a very serious injury in his brain and had to do an emergency operation.
Colon stayed asleep in a coma for 221 days, which is more than seven months.
When he woke up, his body and brain were badly hurt, and he could no longer walk or talk normally.
He needed help with everything for the rest of his life.
Sadly, Colon passed away at age 33, more than ten years after that night.
Williams felt very sad about what happened and said he prayed for Colon every day.
Williams stopped boxing for a while but came back, and after losing his last fight in 2019, he left the sport for good.
