FIIs Maintain High Stakes in 2 Indian Tech Companies Amidst Market Outflows
Imagine people who invest money in different countries.
Lately, these investors have been taking a lot of money out of India's stock market, especially from technology companies.
However, they are still keeping and even adding more money to just two specific tech companies: Cartrade Tech, which helps people buy and sell cars online, and Ixigo, a travel booking app.
These companies are doing very well.
Cartrade Tech has seen big jumps in sales and profits in its car selling and online auction businesses.
Ixigo, despite making a small loss recently, is growing fast with its travel services and is using artificial intelligence to make things better.
Even though these companies are valued very highly by the market, the investors see strong potential and continue to bet on them.
FIIs have withdrawn ₹1,46,002 crore from Indian equities between January and November 14, 2025, with ₹76,609 crore in the July-September quarter.
Despite overall IT sector selling, FIIs have maintained and increased stakes in Cartrade Tech Limited and Le Travenues Technology Limited (Ixigo).
FIIs hold a significant 68.51% stake in Cartrade Tech and 63.06% in Ixigo as of the end of Q2FY26.
Cartrade Tech, an auto platform, shows strong growth in its consumer group, remarketing, and OLX segments, with overall net profit doubling year-on-year.
Ixigo, a travel tech company, reported a 36.94% sales growth YoY, driven by diversified services and planned AI integration, despite a recent net loss.
