CJI Questions Judicial Exam Process During JPSC Case Hearing

The Supreme Court was hearing a complaint about possible problems in a Jharkhand government examination.

The examination was the JPSC Combined Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2025.

A petition asked for a CBI investigation into the alleged irregularities.

Chief Justice Surya Kant said the court was concerned about the judicial service examination.

He asked whether that examination was also conducted by the Jharkhand Public Service Commission.

The court said it was particularly worried about this issue.

The bench sent notices to the Centre, the Jharkhand government and the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission.

The case will continue after the authorities respond.
